Zampa Partners is a business advisory firm and we’re looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our growing team on a reduced-hour basis.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing payroll processes for both internal and external clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Preparing and processing payroll data, including salaries, benefits, deductions, and taxes.
- Handling employee queries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintaining accurate records of payroll transactions and ensuring confidentiality of employee data.
- Identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies, proactively improving processes where possible.
- Assisting with the processing of work permits and other employment-related documentation as required.
Education, Skills, and Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll management, with knowledge of local employment laws and tax regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines independently.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Experience or willingness to assist with work permits and employment documentation is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and proactive, capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.
