Gergely Szabó

Mr. Szabó is the Director of Zampa Partners and a seasoned professional with over 22 years of extensive experience in the financial and investment sectors. Throughout his distinguished career, he has specialized in internal audit, IT audit, project management and risk management, significantly contributing to the robustness of regulated entities such as financial institutions, investment firms, CASPs, funds, and iGaming service providers.

As the head of internal and IT audits at Zampa Partners, Mr. Szabó has been instrumental in leading comprehensive internal control and risk assessment frameworks. His notable achievements include spearheading liquidity management and stress-testing initiatives, as well as managing intricate IT projects within payment systems and online trading platforms.

Previously, Mr. Szabó has successfully coordinated the licensing processes for several regulated investment firms across Hungary and Malta and served as a voting member on Investment Committees for asset management entities. He also provided expert investment advice to high-net-worth individuals and international corporations during his tenure at Raiffeisen Bank in Hungary. 

Passionate about coaching and mentoring, Mr. Szabó actively engages in the professional development of teams, fostering talent, and driving excellence within his organization. Mr. Szabó is also an active member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and ISACA.
